VMCF innovations: Emphasis on youth & simplification of categories
Belgium's youngest federation is now also busy preparing for the new 2018 season. The emphasis will be even more on youth work within the federation, which will remain integrated into the federation's Sunday program.

- Category 2 is the class for 65 cc and 85 cc from 6 years
- Category 3 is the class for 85 cc and aspirants from 10 years old
- VMCF youth championship over 11 tests + 1 final
- Youth regularity criterion for all races from the start of the championship without deletion of bad results
- Schoolboys Riding Championship: Category 2 and 3 via a pursuit race over 8 stages. Also open to guest pilots with in-kind prizes for the top 5
- IMBA championship: The 85 cc youth riders of VMCF can participate in the IMBA trials in 2018
