Lars Van Berkel signs with Husqvarna SKS Racing
After the departure of Sven Van der Mierden was announced earlier, Husqvarna SKS Racing presented its new acquisition. Lars Van Berkel will switch to MX1 with the team of Toine Uijtewaal and Hans Koenen. We think it's an excellent choice!
In 2016, Van Berkel already achieved strong results with Husqvarna SKS Racing. In addition to the Dutch Masters of Motocross, we will also see Lars competing in a number of MXGP, ONL and ADAC Masters competitions. The Red Bull Knock Out is on the program at the end of the season. The remaining 2018 Husqvarna SKS Racing team members will be announced soon.
Lars Van Berkel: “I am very happy with this news! Especially after a very difficult 2017 season in which I had to take a lot of 'U-turns' and in which I never managed to reach my potential. I think it is a wise decision to return to a team with which I was successful in 2016 and to change classes. I'm going to have to work hard to look like the real Lars again.”
