2018 Arenacross: Europe's strongest SX championship!
You can't ignore the fact that the Arenacross World Tour has become the strongest supercross championship in Europe! The tour starts on January 6 in Manchester, UK, and on March 3 AX will visit the Arenacross in Hasselt. One look at the teams is enough to see that all European top players in the discipline are represented!
Unparalleled technology, close racing and spectacle... The Arenacross has it all. The originally British championship obviously owes this to the talent that appears at the start! Suzuki fans will be happy with the strong line-up. Three-time Arenacross Pro champion Thomas Ramette of the SR75 World Suzuki team is once again one of the big favorites. He will have his experienced compatriot Cyrille Coulon next to him.

This year a Suzuki team, Race FX, took the team title. But in 2018, Race FX is also going all out for a top result with the sympathetic Italian Angelo Pellegrini. Pellegrini already managed to win both the European and Italian SX titles in one year! His teammate will be announced later.

In 2014, the ever-stylish Fabien Izoird won the Arenacross championship. In addition, Fabien also has two European and three French SX titles to his name, so he can certainly be called a European indoor legend! After one year of absence from the AX tour, Izoird became homesick and is more motivated than ever. Izoird will compete for the prestigious Buildbase Honda team of living legend Dave Thorpe. It remains to be seen who we will see as a teammate next to Izoird.

You can call them an outsider, the cheerful gang of the GL12 KTM team. In the EMX300 the team is always at the front and in the Arenacross Mike 'Kogel' Kras and James Dunn will defend the honor of all two-stroke fans! Always good for a spectacle, those guys.

Both Jack Brunell and Adam Chadfield are welcome guests at the Dutch SX competitions and they have a lot of indoor experience. Team Holeshot Kawasaki is, next to Wooldrigde Demolition Honda, the second team with an entirely British line-up!

At MVR-D they take Europe's largest SX championship very seriously. Mark Chamberlain is even at the start with two duos! All four have qualities in explosive indoor work. Our favorite? The Estonian Finn Harri Kullas. Harri, who lives in Belgium, is always friendly and can do just about anything: outdoor, indoor and last year he even combined the MX2 and MX2 classes in the Maxxis British Championship. A real Iron Man that Harri!

Florent Richier (FRA)
Yannis Irsuti (FRA)
The name Florent Richier sounds like a bell in the European SX. It is not without reason that Richier is a four-time(!) German champion. Together with the young Yannis Irsuti, JK Yamaha comes with a very strong formation.
We will of course continue to monitor the Arenacross series closely.
