Lesiardo signs MX2 deal for 2018!
The Marchetti KTM team has managed to get a nice name to contest the MX2 World Championship for them next season, namely Morgan Lesiardo. Lesiardo won the EMX250 title last season, but immediately after winning this title he was also able to look for a new team, as his current team (Monster Energy Kawasaki MX2 Racing Team) quit at the end of this season. Lesiardo has therefore managed to find a team for next year and will contest the entire MX2 World Championship.
Lesiardo: 2017 was a special year for me, with a lot of emotion and good performances but also some unexpected circumstances. These were crucial in winning the European title. So now it's time to think about the MX2 World Championship, and I am confident that within Elio Marchetti's team I will be given the right conditions to grow and improve. I have already had a taste of racing with the KTM, and I am very satisfied. I knew the KTM would suit me, and I am optimistic about my first full year in the MX2 World Championship.
