Fillibang takes Galvin Cup final victory!
Filip Bengtsson left no doubt today that he was the strongest in the very first Galvin Cup. Thanks to a double series victory, 'Fillibang' gave its title some more shine. Lars Van Berkel (3-2) came second ahead of Sven van der Mierden (2-3).
In the final standings of the Galvin Cup, Bengtsson therefore precedes Van Der Mierden and Van Berkel. With this, the Swede can collect the largest check of €3.000, Van Der Mierden and Van Berkel took home €2.000 and €1.500 respectively!
It was an unlucky day for Roy Siliën. He was fourth in the first moto until he slipped from the front and dropped to 8th place. In the second moto the MC Mikkola rider damaged his radiator in a heavy fall. As a result, he ultimately had to settle for 12th place.
