Clément Desalle aims for a smooth return
The chances are increasing that you will soon encounter Clément Desalle on some training course! The recovery of the MX Panda after its crash in Assen is going well. The factory Monster Energy Kawasaki rider had to cancel the last GP and the MXoN with Team Belgium due to a broken vertebra.
Although the 28-year-old Desalle suffered a fracture of the C6 vertebra at the end of the season, he says he has had a positive 2017. Clément Desalle: “I finished 4th in the World Championship with two victories and 5 podiums. That's why I have a good feeling about this season.”
Clément's recovery is also going according to plan. This way he can get some rhythm in order to carry out test work with the new engine in November and December. “Of course that depends on the way my back responds to the first motorcycle training sessions.” Although it is of course encouraging to hear that the recovery of the multiple vice world champion is going well! Striking observation; With Kawasaki, Desalle became the first rider on a Japanese brand.
