Bultaco launches affordable Brinco R-B
Okay, we admit it, we have a soft spot for Bultaco! They no longer make dirt bikes since the brand was resurrected a few years ago, but they do produce very cool e-bikes. The legendary Spanish brand has now added a more accessible, extremely sporty version to its range: the Brinco R-B.
The Brinco R-B unmistakably carries the unique Bultaco DNA. But thanks to its performance, cool image and competitive price, it has everything it takes to appeal to a large audience. The “Less is more” philosophy has been around forever.
There are numerous examples of the refined version of a product that appeals most to the imagination. For the R-B, the Bultaco engineers based themselves on the essence of the revolutionary Brinco. So here too it is the rider's turn with independent control over the pedals and throttle. Pedal or accelerate, or both at the same time! For those who are familiar with the feeling of a motorcycle, this makes the Bultaco one of the nicest e-bikes on the market.
The quality of materials and finishing is also at a comparable high level as we know from the other Brincos. The radical Brinco R-B distinguishes itself from the Brinco R by a super clean high-tech look. Compared to its 'big brother', both the mudguards and the plastic cover of the subframe disappeared. In terms of transmission, Bultaco's latest is equipped with Sram's X5 components. Both the display and the rear suspension - pre-load and rebound - get a slightly simpler design.
Nevertheless, this black eye-catcher does not compromise on performance. Thanks to a top power of 2 kW, this Brinco R-B is capable of reaching a top speed of 60 km/h. In terms of autonomy, you can count on a maximum range of 60 kilometers. Perhaps the best news is the price of the new Brinco R-B. For €3.995, the youngest member of the Bultaco family is the first Brinco in a completely different market segment. The Brinco R-B will be available at Bultaco dealers in Belgium and the Netherlands from the beginning of December.
