Bas Vaessen to 114 Motorsports Honda
Bas Vaessen has found a new team for 2018. The young Dutchman follows his teammate at Suzuki Hunter Lawrence to the new 114 Motorsports Honda team of Livia Lancelot. After a season full of injuries, Bas gets a new chance to prove himself at the highest level.
Livia Lancelot: Everyone in the paddock knew that it was my intention to remain active in this world as a team manager even after my active career as a pilot, and a new manufacturer has now signed up to work with me. Next season the team will consist of two pilots, namely Bas Vaessen and Hunter Lawrence. Both pilots will be active for us in the MX2 World Championship, although it will be quite a challenge to enter the MX2 World Championship with a new engine supplier. Although this does not alter the fact that we are very motivated, and I will commit myself 110% to this project, just as I did during my active racing career.
