Jordi Tixier in MXGP with Bos Suspension!
French suspension manufacturer Bos Suspension has been toying with the idea of setting up its own team or joining an existing team as a partner. Now the bullet has been decided! Next year Bos will make his debut in the MXGP with former MX2 world champion Jordi Tixier. Bos announced this today in a press release.
Although relatively unknown in the Benelux, they are not up to the task at Bos. Bos is successfully active in all disciplines where suspension is important, from downhill mountain bike to WRC rally, rallycross, Dakar buggies and of course also motocross. Tixier will compete next year on a KTM 450SX-F.
Olivier Bossard, manager and founder of Bos Suspension: “It is good timing for us to come out as Bos Suspension with our own team. We will not simply act as a 'supplier', but this way we will have the opportunity to fully demonstrate what we have to offer. Our products are already known by insiders for their technology, their performance and their reliability. Now we want to prove that our forks and shock absorbers can also make a difference on any motorcycle. We have everything to succeed!”
Also Jordi Tixier is enthusiastic: “It's fantastic to see the dynamism and motivation of Olivier Bossard and the entire Bos Suspension team! I have already used Bos suspensions in my last year in MX2 and I have to say I was impressed with their efficiency, which allowed me to ride better and safer. For the 2018 season we will be using a KTM 450SX-F and we will be modifying it to use Bos suspensions. You can expect novelties and surprises from us... The coming winter will allow us to work, train and test well... I want to be at the front next year!”
The team name, colors and other partners will be announced soon.
