Belgian Masters of MX: Battle of Baisieux!
We will talk about the Coupe de l'Avenir in Baisieux tomorrow, but let us not forget the Belgian Masters of Motocross. Together with the BK Motocross you can count on a thrilling final and a competition with high stakes. After all, the Belgian Masters is competing for a prize pool of more than 20.000 euros!
The winner of the Belgian Masters will receive no less than €7.000, but numbers two and three will also be richly rewarded with €5.000 and €3.000 respectively! And let's be honest, it's extremely difficult to name a top favorite. Erik Willems en Dietger Damiaens, read our preview with Dietger here, fight their own duel for the BK MX1 title in Quiévrain. However, it is not inconceivable that one of the two gentlemen will also win the jackpot. Willems certainly knows that he will have to do everything he can to keep his chances of winning the championship intact.
Anyone who thinks about major interests will automatically end up with the experienced men. And there are plenty of them now on Sunday! Jeffrey Dewulf rode stronger than ever this season and the Belgian Masters crown would give him just that little bit more shine. The West Flemish proved that Dewulf is again in top form last week during the Loon Beach race where he won ahead of Yentel Martens and the eternally young Steve Ramon! Unfortunately, Martens is not there in the Belgian Masters, but Ramon is. With the regularity that the two-time world champion has shown this year, he remains a dangerous outsider! And what about Ken Dycker? De Dycker turned the GP page in his career, said goodbye to his Honda and seems to be enjoying his sport again. A Keeno who is having fun is worth two and that was also evident this weekend in the VMCF where he steered his KTM to a double series victory. Check out the video below!

Jeremy Delincé as local hero?
Both Clément Desalle and Julien Lieber are currently injured, which makes the list of French-speaking top riders very thin, but if there is one rider who can surprise in Baisieux, it is Jeremy Delince. The KMP-Honda rider has excellent technique and even when the conditions are bad, the Liège native performs excellently. Although he sometimes lacks regularity, the teammate of Delince, Kevin Fors, the past few weeks have shown that he also has the speed to run at the front in the MX1. There is no shortage of shadow favorites for this edition of the Belgian Masters of Motocross. Both Jurgen Wybo as a Roy Sillien Given a good start, they can certainly hold their own in this company.
Because registration is also possible on site, we would not be surprised if some guns showed up at the last minute. Who knows, maybe we will see the winner of the Belgian Masters of Motocross in 2016, Kevin Strijbos or MXON rider Brent Van Doninck still in action!
Open battle in MX2
Due to the so-called 'triple header' with Coupe de l'Avenir, BK and Belgian Masters together, the cards were also shuffled in terms of participants in the various competitions. So will Tim Louis will not compete in the BC rounds, because he replaces the injured Cyril Genot in the Belgian Coupe de l'Avenir team! Belgian champion Mark Boat won two series this year, but as far as the sympathetic MC Mikkola rider is concerned, there is certainly room for more! Boot has to compete against, among others, Bryan Engelen, Omar Baloglu, Remi Fraikin, Bo De Clercq and guest driver Henson Lievens.
