Be there: the KNMV motocross scouting days!
The KNMV will again organize Motocross Scouting Days at the end of September and the beginning of October. These days are the opportunity for talented Dutch motocross riders to put themselves in the spotlight for a place in the National or International Selection of the KNMV. Registration is open as of yesterday!
The fact that the KNMV has a well-founded training program is not new. This is increasingly providing tangible evidence. With great Dutch results in the GPs and among the youth, such as this year's world title Ivano Van Erp in the 65cc and the silver medal of Kay Karssemakers in the 85cc!
The scouting days are for that KNMV license holders with a Dutch passport who currently compete in the national KNMV (youth) motocross competition, in the 50cc, 65cc, 85cc, 125cc or MX2 classes. A condition for the MX2 is that the rider will fully participate in an international competition (at least EMX or World Championship) in 2018. The maximum age for the KNMV Motocross scouting days is 19 years old. Riders born before October 1, 1998 are excluded from participation.
Drivers who are not yet active in the KNMV youth competition and who will compete in it next year can also register. Anyone who participated last year and/or in previous editions of the scouting days and was not selected can participate again to show your progress to the scouting team. There are different dates for 50cc and 65cc, 85cc and 125cc and MX2. In addition, make-up dates are also available for those who are unable to attend due to an injury.
Check the KNMV for all information website . Don't hesitate, do it! Earlier this season we did a very interesting interview with KNMV national coach Marcel Hartman in which he talked extensively about youth training in motocross. You can do it read here.
