The story of: Shaney Truyts
A season often has multiple faces. This also applies to Shaney Truyts, who was able to celebrate the title at MC Lille last weekend after a difficult start to the season. Curious about her story? She will tell you herself here on MXmag.
Shaney Truyts:
I started the season with a brand new motorcycle in good spirits and with great enthusiasm, but it soon became apparent that something was wrong with my engine and it was not functioning properly. However, we could not count on the warranty and cooperation of the shop, and after I was out for 4 weeks due to a broken collarbone due to engine failure, we decided to get rid of this engine and purchase a new (my current) engine. Due to that injury I missed 2 matches and I was already facing a serious disadvantage in the championship. It was a difficult season for me at MC Lille, but nevertheless I continued to fight for the championship until the last series. Ultimately I managed to win the championship, thus winning my 3rd title in 3 years. At the finish there were tears of joy and relief “I DID IT”. With this title I also say goodbye to MC Lille and I will prepare to ride at a higher level.
I would also like to thank a few people, first of all my parents, who made all this possible for me. In addition, my family, friends and supporters who have helped and supported me all year long and who have also helped me through the difficult moments. I would also like to thank my sponsors “café Las Vegas” and “clothing store Xllnt” in Brasschaat.
