Shot Race Gear launches 2018 collection
Motocross is not a sport for everyone. Anyone who drives themselves knows that it is a magical feeling. Shot Race Gear offers you that little bit more to focus on what really counts. Europe's fastest growing gear brand is proud to present three very competitive lines for 2018. The new collection is now also available at the dealer.
From the attack and spectacle of MX2 rookie sensation Thomas Kjer Olsen to the super-fluid style of Thomas Covington and the control and perseverance of extreme enduro hero Graham Jarvis. Each of these champions has their own unique driving style. Yet they all want the same thing: to use their energy as optimally as possible. Shot Race Gear calls this the 'Maximize Your Energy' principle.
In collaboration with its MX, SX, enduro and extreme enduro riders, Shot Race Gear has further refined its premium Aerolite line for 2018. The Aerolite Optica line was designed for optimal performance and an intuitive riding position. By continuously learning and improving even the smallest details, the 2018 Aerolite Optica motocross pants are super comfortable, light and yet durable. The new Aerolite Optica pants have four-way stretch spandex material on the inside and laser-cut panels for optimal airflow. Precise use of flexible materials where necessary - such as at the knee and at the back - and more abrasion-resistant materials elsewhere guarantee the perfect combination between fit and durability. Riders will also appreciate the smart features like the micrometric buckle and anti-mud zipper!

The lightweight Aerolite Optica shirt has an athletic fit that offers maximum flexibility. Strategically placed, breathable mesh panels keep you nice and fresh. The comfortable finish and pleasantly fitting sleeves prevent irritation and allow you to ride the way you want! Thanks to the longer back of the shirt and the silicone strip in the pants, your shirt stays in place while driving.
The Contact Infinite and Contact Venom lines are Shot Race Gear's mid-range offerings. These two styles both offer a great price/quality ratio. The 2018 Contact pants have a pre-shaped fit for a better riding position while the dobby material - which forms the backbone of the pants - is sturdy yet light at the same time! Not only do the new Contact trousers have many smart features from the premium Aerolite, they also offer the opportunity to experience for yourself what Shot's Maximize your Energy can do. High-quality performance for just 570 grams*!
To feel completely free on the motorcycle, the 2018 Contact shirt has an anatomical cut. The special soft Lycra collar also fits perfectly for those who wear a neck brace. Like all Shot Race Gear motocross gear, this jersey benefits from a never-fading color sublimation process. In plain English: the colors of your gear continue to look cool! The Contact Infinite line is available in seven color combos. The Contact Venom is available in three color combinations.
Although Shot Race Gear's 2018 entry-level line, the Devo Alert, is offered at a competitive price, you get the performance and light weight that you would normally only expect from a premium line. With a weight of barely 510 grams*, the Devo Alert motocross pants are probably the lightest in the world in their category. Still, the Devo is a heavyweight when it comes to fit and focus on what really matters. The contoured fit offers a better riding experience. Made from 600D polyester, the Shot Race Gear Devo Alert pants are lightweight, durable and equipped with a ventilated lining on the inside to keep you nice and cool.
In addition to the strong Devo Alert trousers, Shot also worked on the Devo shirt for 2018. The anatomical fit for maximum freedom of movement and the adapted raglan sleeves are particularly striking here. With nine different color combinations, the Devo line is a must for anyone who wants style and performance at a competitive price.
