MCLB: Wybo is first in Wingene!
After the exciting denouement of the Belgian Championship at the Inters in the MCLB federation, peace returned to Wingene. The protagonists of the championship David Segers and Wietse Brackman already took some time for themselves, and that provided additional opportunities for pilots such as Jurgen Wybo, Torpjurn Van Hoe and Dylan Verleysen.
In the first heat it was Dylan Verleysen who managed to take the victory. This in extremis after a very interesting series spiced up by the man on Yamaha and Jurgen Wybo! Jurgen Wybo led the vast majority of the race, but had to give up his leading position to the young wolf Verleysen a few corners from the end. As a result, “Woby” had to be satisfied with a second position ahead of Jaimy Deleersnijder and Torpjurn Van Hoe. Tim Vandriessche finished fifth as the first MX2 pilot!
The second heat started with a holeshot for the surprising Gilles Tack, he fought like hell for all he was worth but saw Jurgen Wybo pass on the fourth lap. After a poor start he had worked his way to the front and rode to victory after taking over the lead. Gilles Tack, in turn, dropped further to fifth place, which offered Dylan Verleysen the opportunity to push himself into second place ahead of Mattis Meersschout and Jaimy Deleersnijder.
The day's victory went to Jurgen Wybo ahead of Dylan Verleysen and Jaimy Deleersnijder with the combined time. In the MX2 class the victory went to Tim Vandriessche.
