Arenacross Hasselt proposed
Today the Arenacross World Tour was officially presented in Hasselt. With a stop in Hasselt, this means good news for Belgian motocross fans who would like to enjoy this spectacle live.
After 5 years of only being active in the United Kingdom, Arenacross will also come to Hasselt next year, and that is just the start of their plans. For example, the organizers of Arenacross want to be active with their championship in at least 3 different countries within 10 years. They mainly focus on young families, and they hope to attract a large number of new visitors to these events in addition to the regular motocross audience. That is why Arenacross tries to offer a nice combination of sports and entertainment in order to reach this new target group. In addition to racing, a lot of attention will also be paid to music, lasers, lights and freestyle motocross.
In addition to all this, young talent will also get their chance in this spectacle. The intention is, among other things, that Belgian pilots will get their chance in every category from 65cc up to and including the freestyle event. These pilots will be selected in consultation with well-known Belgian faces from the motocross world. In this way, Arenacross hopes to safeguard their future with their 'own' youth, and they also count on the well-known names who are already active in the British Arenacross championship to make their World tour a success. In all likelihood, no GP pilots will appear at the start in Hasselt, but that certainly does not mean that the level and spectacle will be any less.
