Team USA MXoN: Seely, Osborne & Covington!
AMA director of Racing Kevin Crowther has just announced the American team for the MX of Nations in Matterly Basin (GBR) in Unadilla. Due to the many injuries, it became a real puzzle for the Americans. Cole Seely will compete in MXGP, Zach Osborne in MX2. Thomas Covington will not ride for Puerto Rico after all, but will defend the American colors in the open class!
Funny detail, Zach Osborne also rode for team Puerto Rico in the MXoN. “Osborne has wanted to go to the Motocross of Nations for years,” said team manager Roger Decoster. “Every year he asked me and I had to disappoint him. This year it was deserved. Seely and Covington's results have also improved and I think it is a good time for them to go. All three drivers want to go for it and they can count on good support from their teams.”
Jason Anderson (photo) was unavailable this year due to surgery on his foot, but we will see two factory Husqvarnas in American colors in Great Britain!
