Preview & Track Check VLM Rijkevorsel
After the free weekend due to the GP in Lommel, the VLM will go to the Bolksedijk in Rijkevorsel this weekend. On Saturday it is already busy with the JMS, 'moped cross', the ladies, quads and a special series for Side by Side ATVs. On Sunday there are Championship matches for the Inters, Juniors, Nationals and Recreationals on the program!
Anyone who doesn't know what to expect is assured of entertainment in Rijkevorsel tomorrow! In addition to the sporting program, MC Kenaka, led by Erwin Buys, has already planned a lot of side entertainment. From 21 p.m. there will be a comical action with the 'Kloosterlingen' and to further raise the temperature, there will also be a comic and fire act!
Things get more serious on Sunday. Especially now that we are entering the final phase of the championships. There are still 5 rounds to go at the Inters. So in total there are still 250 points to be earned. Leader Kenny Janssens However, he is firmly in the saddle and is currently 40 points ahead of Jens Van Meer. And of course Kenny, who finished second in Rijkevorsel last year, wants to ride in front of his own 'audience' in Kampenhout with a nice lead next week! Experienced man Kristof Salaets is also gaining momentum. And the fact that there are many candidate winners at VLM this season only makes it even more exciting.
Speaking of exciting, we definitely have to talk about the MX2! Not so much about the Inters, where Jonathan Banken has a street lead, but about the Nationals. Brent Aerden leads with 20 points over Arno Van Mieghem, Jordy Kenzeler follows with 42 points. In short, reasons enough to go to Rijkevorsel.
