Mike Kras first champion in British 2-stroke class
Last weekend Mike Kras made history by becoming the very first motocross rider to become British champion in the 300cc 2-stroke class. This weekend, during the last race of the season in Foxhill, Kras only needed a third and fifth place in the series to secure his title. Ultimately, the day's victory in Foxhill went to Kras' teammate James Dunn, who felt he was the strongest in both heats ahead of Ashley Greedy (2+2). Mike Kras ultimately fell just off the podium in Foxhill and had to settle for fourth place, but that could not dampen the celebration. After being crowned EMX300 champion last year, this title is the second title for Kras to win in this ever-growing two-stroke class.
