Julien Lieber to the Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team in 2018
Our compatriot Julien Lieber will be seen on the Factory Kawasaki KX450-SR in the Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team next season. So 23-year-old Julien Lieber will be Clement Desalle's new teammate in the Kawasaki KRT team in 2018. The man from Malmedy, who will start in the MX2 class this year with his own private team, has already scored five podium places this year and is currently also fifth in the standings of the MX2 world championship.
Julien Lieber: “Being able to ride again this season was great, but one of my goals was to end up in a top team in the MXGP class and I am happy to have achieved this. Getting into the most important class of motocross and into a solid professional team is like a dream and I will certainly do my best to achieve strong results. There are a lot of top riders in the MXGP class, but I have been training with the 450 for a few years and I think this class suits my riding style. I have been riding the 250 for seven years now, so now is the right time to step up to a more professional team like the Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team. I am therefore happy to become a teammate of Clement. We already have a good relationship and I am sure we will work closely together.”
