Jeffrey Herlings top attraction in AMA Motocross final!
Jeffrey Herlings already announced on Instagram that he had a nice surprise in store for his fans. By now, just about everyone knows what it's about. The Bullit already traveled to the US today. Before the American MXGP in Florida next weekend, Jeffrey will compete in the final of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series! The 12th and final game of the season will take place in Crawfordsville Indiana. With the surprise act of the three-time world champion.
For Herlings it is a nice side step in his calendar as his program allows it with a free GP weekend. He also wanted to ride Unadilla last year, but then an injury threw a spanner in the works. We know from the European wildcard riders who took an outdoor in the past, such as Clément Desalle or Shaun Simpson, that something like this could turn out very well! Interesting detail: if Herlings can steal some points from Eli Tomac, there might still be an ultimate chance for a KTM title... Rocky Mountain KTM pilot Blake Baggett follows leader Tomac on 28 points, Marvin Musquin (Red Bull KTM) follows on 30 points. In any case, the fans will benefit!
450 Class Points
1. Eli Tomac 439d
2. Blake Baggett 411p
3. Marvin Musquin 409p
4. Dean Wilson 320p
5. Cole Seely 294p
