Tixier and Herbreteau out for Lommel!
Jordi Tixier is in the doldrums this year. The 2 MX2015 world champion has already had to miss many races due to injuries and now he will also have to miss Lommel. During training in Lommel last Sunday he jumped on a fallen rider, hurt his wrist and broke a rib. Jordi worked hard on his recovery to participate this weekend, but in the end he decided not to start. Tixier's contract with Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team expires at the end of this season.
A heavy blow also for David Herbreteau and the F&H Racing Team! The Kawasaki rider was injured during the last training for the Belgian Grand Prix. The Frenchman's left shoulder dislocated without him falling! An immediate visit was made to the hospital where no damage was found. As a precaution, it has been decided not to participate in the GP at the Lommel circuit. Ruben Fernandez will not replace him, the Spaniard has a wound on his arm and is aiming for the end of the EMX250.
