Lars van Berkel finishes the season with DIGA-Procross Husqvarna Team
Now that Calvin Vlaanderen is back at HSF Logistics Motorsport, Lars Van Berkel's replacement is over. Fortunately, the sympathetic Veghelaar found shelter with the ambitious German DIGA-Procross Husqvarna Team from Cologne. Lars will ride all remaining European MX2 GPs and there is also the possibility that he will compete in the ADAC MX Masters.
For the young DIGA Procross Husqvarna Team it was an excellent opportunity to work with a fast sand rider. After all, both Lommel and Assen are still on the calendar for the next two months. For Van Berkel, this marks the fourth, and hopefully most successful, part of his 2017 campaign. Lars started the season at Vamo-Honda and then joined HRC-Honda and HSF Logistics Motorsport. Although he started the season well, Lars subsequently suffered from some health ailments. He showed that he has now fully recovered in the grueling GP of Ottobiano. Van Berkel finished 12th in the final standings. At Diga-Procross Husqvarna he gets Adrien Malawal en Caleb Grothues as teammates.
