Jed Beaton substitute at HRC Honda MX2
As we wrote earlier this week, Australian Jed Beaton will replace HRC Honda. After Chihiro Notsuka's serious injury, Team HRC – MX2 went to a replacement according to a kind of interim formula. Beaton is at the start of three GPs, namely Loket, Lommel and Assen.
As a substitute at HRC you normally get two GPs to prove yourself. It was due to unfortunate timing Lars Van Berkel in Valkenswaard and Kegums did not turn out as he wanted. Then it was the Venezuelan's turn in Ottobiano and Agueda Anthony Rodriguez who finished 8th in Portugal.
Beaton, who competes in the EMX250 for Carglass-Honda, can therefore take his first chance for the Honda factory team in Loket. Although he has already tested the Honda factory bike, the Czech GP will mainly be a test for the Australian MX2 champion.
