Arnaud Tonus already on the 2018 YZ450F!
Wilvo Yamaha MXGP is proud to announce that Arnaud Tonus, currently tenth in the FIM MXGP World Championship, will be one of the first riders to ride the all-new 2018 YZ450F.
Loket, the circuit where the Czech Republic GP will be held this weekend, will be the place for this unique moment. The smooth, hard bottom fits perfectly with the refined skills that Tonus possesses. The 2018 YZ450F has a new engine and a new frame, which will positively contribute to #4 towards the podium.
Comments from team manager Louis Vosters: "I am extremely pleased that Yamaha Motor Europe has given us the confidence to start with the 450 YZ2018F version at this time of the season. Yamaha has made every effort to have these 2018 motorcycles available to us now. A lot of energy has been put into this together with various partners such as Akrapovic, KYB and GYTR. Our crew has worked extremely hard to get the bikes ready for GP level competition in a timely manner. Arnaud Tonus was very positive about the handling and power of this completely new engine from the first test. We are very much looking forward to this weekend in the Czech Republic where the 13th GP of the season will be held.”
