AMA: RCH Racing is calling it quits!
Suzuki Motor of America and RCH Racing announced yesterday that they have mutually decided to retire from the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at the end of the XNUMX Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. This not only means that Justin Bogle and Broc Tickle will have to look for a new team, Suzuki will also have to find a different interpretation for its American factory team!
In 2016, the RCH team of Ricky Carmichael and Carey Hart won the 450MX Lucas Oil Pro Motocross title with Ken Roczen. Until then, RCH was doing it as a private team. Due to the termination of Yoshimura Suzuki, RCH was given the status of a factory team for this year. The most logical step seems to be that JGR, which switched from Yamaha to Suzuki last winter, would now receive full factory support.
Ricky Carmichael will continue his promotional role as ambassador. The discontinuation of RCH Racing is not a surprise. Even after the end of 2016, it was very uncertain for a long time whether the team would continue.
