Preview VLM Genk!
To make a difference in Genk it might just come down to the form of the day! In recent weeks, Dietger Damiaens has emphatically turned a blind eye. Dietger narrowly defeated Jens Van Meer last week, thanks to a better second heat. But in May, Damiaens also stood on the highest scaffold on the Horensbergdam in the VMCF.
Also consistently at the front in recent weeks are Wouter Van Massenhoven, Kenny Janssens and certainly not to be forgotten: the reigning champion and winner in Olmen Wesley Verheyen.
At the end of last year, Greg Smets provided the surprise in Genk. He then won his first victory at the VLM Inters! Steve Seronval is one of the people who could certainly do well in Genk. Seronval took a resounding victory during the VMCF Pentecost weekend in Moresnet, but it seems as if 'Rocket' is having a really bad year. He is currently struggling with a virus in his blood and it is therefore not clear whether the Racing Center KTM rider will be there on Sunday.
For the sidecar drivers, there is a Belgian Championship on the program in Genk, as well as for the National Open, Juniors Open and Recreational. The matches start on Sunday at 10am. On Saturday there is the full youth program
