Rick Elzinga (EMX125) back in action!
The Dutch EMX delegation will be reinforced in Ottobiano! MJC Yamaha Official's Rick Elzinga will make his return appearance in Italy this weekend. The 15-year-old promise from Zenderen suffered from a hip injury, but fortunately it is now gone...
Rick tells his own story: “The doctor gave me the green light again, so now I can start taking it easy again! Last Saturday I was back on the motorcycle for the first time. That went well, I just don't have much fitness anymore because I wasn't allowed to do anything with the leg (no running or/or cycling). So that is still a problem. That's why I don't expect much from Italy and Portugal. I try to start well and ride well during the first few laps. Then my weekend is actually a success. I'm just going to ride and see what happens.”
In any case, we wish Rick a positive start. Building well, plenty of fun competitions this season!
