MCLB BK: Will Segers be further ahead or will Brackman put things in order?!
After the MCLB BK round last weekend, David Segers was ahead of Wietse Brackman by just one point. The question was, did Segers extend his lead in this Belgian Championship Trial in Tielt or did Brackman put his affairs in order?!
The second happened, despite David Segers' holeshot in the first moto, it was Wietse Brackman who quickly managed to take the lead in the race. Once this was done, the Husqvarna pilot crossed the i's and crossed the i's by recording a fastest time that was no less than one second per lap faster than all his colleagues. As a result, David Segers finished in second place at just under twelve seconds. The Standing Construct – Geeco Bikes KTM pilot was ahead of Maarten Govaerts, who started in sixth place, as well as Jurgen Wybo and Jorne Tytgat.
If possible, the second heat would have been even easier for Wietse Brackman. This time he managed to take the lead from start to finish. While Torpjurn Van Hoe and Jorne Tytgat made it difficult for each other for places two and three. Tytgat would pass Van Hoe to second place in the penultimate lap, so Van Hoe had to be satisfied with a third place. For a long time it seemed that Wesley Verheyen would take fourth place, but he disappeared from the race, leaving Jurgen Wybo and David Segers in fourth and fifth places.
With this double series victory, Wietse Brackman not only took the day's victory, ahead of Jorne Tytgat and David Segers, but also took the lead in the BC standings. In this Belgian Championship he now leads with 11 points.
