Kawasaki presents new 2018 KX250F!
Kawasaki presents the new 2018 KX250F, the popular quarter-liter has been further improved and is by far the most advanced MX2 machine on the market. Maximum acceleration and unprecedented flexibility were at the top of the agenda when developing the new 2018 KX250F.
For even more torque and power across the entire speed range, the injection system was adjusted, the intake tract was improved and the exhaust system was further perfected. In addition to new settings for the injection system, the fuel pump pressure was also increased and the angle of the injector adjusted. Furthermore, the shape of the inlet channel was adjusted and the bell shortened. To top it all off, the intake exit timing and compression ratio were lowered slightly to 13.4:1. In order to make optimal use of the increased torque and power, the exhaust system in front of the silencer was widened and slightly extended. The result is even more and better usable power in all speed ranges. Particularly in the low and midrange, the power has been greatly relaxed, meaning that the clutch needs to be used considerably less
Holeshots now become even easier, because thanks to the increased torque, the speed drops less when switching over and you are guaranteed maximum performance. In fact, the 2018 KX250F reached the 2 meter mark 60 meters earlier in testing than its predecessor!
The front fork was equipped with new components and settings and, together with the new settings of the rear shock absorber, ensures that cliffs are perfectly absorbed. This allows you to keep your ideal line even better and the engine remains optimally balanced during braking and acceleration. Together with the increased engine performance, the improved suspension guarantees lower lap times in both technical and fast sections.
With great smoothness, innovative updates and even more power, the 2018 KX250F is the perfect choice for the most demanding MX2 rider.
The 2018 KX250F will be in the showroom at the beginning of August, prices will be announced soon.
