Antwerp EnduroCross: FREE top event & top spectacle!!!
This Sunday something very special is about to happen in the parking lot of the Bosuil stadium: the fourth edition of the Antwerp EnduroCross. Endurocross is not motocross, it is not pure enduro and it is not supercross, but it is a bit of those three disciplines together! Besides the riders, the big attraction is the course. You simply have to see with your own eyes what has been built up for the Endurocross!
For the Belgian Inters, this competition counts towards the Belgian Enduro Championship. The absolute top of the Belgian endurists will therefore be present, from the reigning champions Antoine Magain (E1), Cedric Cremer (E2) and Gaetan Minique (E3) to men who can perform well in this short, highly technical work. . We are thinking of ex-BMW factory driver Jean-François 'Jeff' Goblet, Bengt Laeremans, Cédric Melotte, but Nick Triest and Andy Truyts will also be there! No Mathias Van Hoof at the Endurocross because he is still recovering from his knee injury. The friendly Beta pilot will assist the riders with good advice.
With all-rounder Joël Smets, the competition will have an additional attraction! The sporting manager of KTM motocross feels perfectly at home on an enduro motorcycle and the five-time world champion never shies away from a challenge, even if it is just for fun! Images from the previous edition can be seen below:
Explosive and clear!
Just like supercross, Endurcross is about short, fast races. The fact that you can follow everything perfectly on the spot - and yes, completely for free - makes it all the more attractive as a spectator. But a day at Endurocross is also a great opportunity for many riders! In addition to the Inters, the Beloften and a strongly occupied free class will also be in action in Deurne. They all want to taste the creative obstacles, the close racing which is of course not normally the case in enduro and for once it is about short, powerful efforts where driving technique is completely central.
