VLM Molenbeersel: Broken leg for David Cools
Unlucky man of the day in Molenbeersel was Inter MX2 David Cools. The driving force behind the DC MX School had an unfortunate crash in the second moto. He broke his thigh. Cools was immediately taken to the hospital in Herentals.
The likeable veteran has been doing very well in recent weeks. It seemed as if he had started his second youth in MX2 because 'Mister Coolspeed' was on the podium in Lummen and Haacht, among others. Yesterday he won two more heats among the vintage cars and in the first series in Molenbeersel he was third. It is expected that David will now be out of action for quite some time. MXMag wishes DC a speedy recovery!
