Steve Ramon & Jago Geerts join forces
Two-time world champion Steve Ramon has been working for several months as the riding technical supervisor of European and world 125 cc champion Jago Geerts. Photographic Art BVBA, specialized in media communication & management, brought all parties involved together. Steve Ramon, Jago Geerts, Jago's parents and the Bouwconcept company, represented by founder and owner Freddy Versluys, quickly found each other in the proposals that were put on the table. Steve Ramon, 125 2003cc World Champion and 1 MX2007 World Champion, is known in motorcycle circles for his stylistic way of mastering a motorcycle. Even though Jago Geerts is bursting with talent, a guide like Steve Ramon in the hard life of reaching the absolute world top, and then being able to maintain it there for a long time, is an opportunity that only a few have. In a new role as a supervisor, Steve also returns to the foreground in the Motocross World Championship.
Freddy Versluys, manager of BOUWCONCEPT, a loyal sponsor of Steve Ramon and the Belgian team for the Motocross of Nations for years, never misses an opportunity to financially support sparkling new talent. Jago Geerts is a rough diamond who will shine through the right guidance and support from Belgian and foreign companies. The word diamond is derived from Ancient Greek, which means unbeatable. If Geerts is properly polished and honed in the hands of the right masters, he will shine in all his facets and write motocross history like only a few have before him.
