MCLB: WackoBracko wins third BC class in Oostrozebeke
The third test for the Belgian MCLB Championship in the Inters Class was contested today in Oostrozebeke, West Flanders. Once again it was a duel between the youngsters Wietse Brackman and Jorne Tytgat and the old guard with David Segers, Maarten Govaert and Jurgen Wybo!
In the first heat we saw Maarten Govaert take the lead, but the man on the Yamaha quickly had to give this up to Jorne Tytgat. After Jorne Tytgat, Maarten Govaert was immediately followed by Wietse Brackman. He was able to hold off the Husqvarna pilot for a few laps, but in the end he also had to recognize his superior in 'Wacko Bracko'. De Brackman then went looking for the leader Jorne Tytgat, but he was already out of range. Jorne Tytgat won with about five seconds ahead of Wietse Brackman. David Segers came in third! He managed to get the better of Maarten Govaert in the penultimate round. Maarten Govaert in turn finished fourth ahead of Torpjurn van Hoe.
In the second round we had Wietse Brackman who managed to take the lead from start to finish. The Leon Sagaert Husqvarna pilot built up a modest lead that proved sufficient for victory. Behind him we saw Junior Decauter start in second place on an MXPlanet Suzuki. But the pace at the front was a little too high for Decauter, he first saw Maarten Govaert, who rushed forward like an unleashed man on the first lap, pass him. After Maarten Govaert, Jurgen Wybo also passed on his way to third place. After this, David Segers, Jorne Tytgat, Jaimy Deleersnijder and Kenny Dult also passed Junior Decauter.
In the general day rankings, Wietse Brackman went home with the flowers. This for Maarten Govaert and Jorne Tytgat. In the Inters MX2 the victory went to Tim Vandriessche, in the Inters B Henson Lievens was the victor.
