Flashback: Mr. 875 Eric Geboers
Few Belgian, or GP riders in general, captured the imagination of the public as much as Eric Geboers. Geboers provided a spectacle, combining physicality with courage and perseverance. In ten (!) seasons he collected two 125cc, one 250cc and one 500cc world title. This made him the first rider ever to call himself world champion in all three individual categories.
In their beautiful series 'Famous Belgians in 60 years of motocross history', our colleagues from MXvintage now tell the story of Eric Geboers, the first Mr. 875. Read here the piece by Ferre Beyens!
