Zach Osborne takes the 250SX East Coast Supercross title
Zach Osborne secured the 250SX East Coast Supercross title at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. In this very last race, Jordon Smith, Joey Savargy and Zach Orborne entered the final straight with a difference of barely one point between these three drivers. The race itself was won by Adam Cianciarulo, but a seventh-place finish was enough for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider Zach Osborne to take home his first-ever 250SX East Coast Supercross title.
However, everything did not go as it wanted for Osborne because he had already crashed at the start and had to make a hellish chase from last position until he ended up on the wheel of Joey Savatgy on the very last lap. The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider had the title in hand at the time until Osborne simply rode the bike out of Savatgy's hands with an aggressive block pass. With two turns to go, Savatgy's title dream vanished and Zach Osborne became the new 250 2017SX East Coast Supercross Champion.
