Lars Van Berkel substitute at HRC – MX2!
Lars Van Berkel will replace the injured Chihiro Notsuka in Team HRC – MX2 in the next two World Championship races. The Japanese factory pilot had a serious fall in Argentina, breaking his back and also dislocating his hip.
Van Berkel will compete on the Honda CRF250RW from Valkenswaard. We also see De Veghelaar in Kegums under the tent of the HRC – MX2 team.
Lars Van Berkel: “The fact that I can ride for the HRC factory team in the next two GPs is truly a dream come true! I want to make the best of this opportunity and I want to show that I also deserve to drive there. My thanks go to Vamo Honda who agreed to this offer. I've been riding Honda for many years, I know the CRF250 well and it's a bike I feel at home on. In Valkenswaard I ride in front of my own audience, so I want to perform at my best. That is the most important thing for me: riding the way I know I can.”
