Reassuring news for Julien Lieber!
He was the only one who could follow Paul's Jonass in the first series. Julien Lieber was preparing to battle the World Cup leader again when he was hit by Brian Hsu in the second round. He received a serious blow to his lower leg, due to the pain Lieber had no choice but to abandon the match.
With a scared heart, the fast Belgian went to the doctor for examination. However, no fracture was detected on the various scans. Hopefully the protégé of Yves Demaria, who is currently third in the MX2 standings, can recover quickly. Fortunately for Lieber, there is no GP next weekend. The 7th round will take place on May 6 and 7 in Kegums, Latvia. We keep our fingers crossed for the LRT-KTM rider that he will be 100% again to fight for the win!
