Dutch Masters of Motocross live!
After a tumultuous first MX1 race due to a restart, Max Anstie crossed the line as the deserved winner. Anstie held Jeffrey Herlings to 8,5 seconds. In the early stages Gautier Paulin kept pace with Anstie but eventually the Frenchman finished third. The Husqvarna party was completed with a great performance by Yentel Martens who finished fourth.
The MX1 race was restarted after several riders crashed in the first start and ended up in the crush barriers. The Finn Jami Numinnen was the hardest hit. The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider was taken away on a stretcher, and a photographer was also injured. In addition, Dennis Wiemann, Jeffrey Van der Vlies and Michel Hounson, among others, crashed. In the restart, Max Anstie was fastest out of the starting blocks. However, Anstie had to leave the initiative to Paulin. Herlings was close behind both Husqvarna pilots. In the 7th lap Anstie took the lead and never relinquished it. Shaun Simpson seemed to be moving towards the front for a while, but ultimately had to settle for 5th place. The excellently qualified Jeffrey Dewulf disappeared from the race in the second lap, he had a problem with his rear wheel.

Slightly fewer top riders, MX1 championship leader Max Nagl canceled just before the race, and for the time being less public interest than in Oss. Yet there is still a high-quality field at the start in all classes! The first MX2 race starts at 13:20 PM, the first MX1 race starts at 14:05 PM.
In the MX2, Brian Bogers, the winner of Oss, convincingly took pole ahead of HSF Logistics teammate Calvin Vlaanderen. Thomas Kjer Olsen followed almost 2 seconds. Freek van der Vlist (4th), Thomas Covington (5th) and Jago Geerts (6th) also went well.

The Danish talent Mikkel Haarup showed off his calling card earlier this morning in the 125cc time training. He dominated the timed training and was a full two (!) seconds faster than Filip Olsson. Raivo Dankers was the first Dutchman at 2,1 seconds. Boy Van der Voorn qualified fifth, Raf Meeuwissen set the seventh fastest time.
