Preview VLM Tongerlo!
This Sunday VLM and JMS will be guests in Tongerlo. For Jens van Meer, from the organizing CKP Racing, his 'club race' seems to have come at a good time. After all, he took his first podium last week in Arendonk!
Absentees are often wrong. Although some top players at the Inters Arendonk were missed, the audience got to see exciting matches. And in the meantime, the men who are still on the hunt for their top form were also able to gain plenty of confidence! Kenny Janssens managed to win both heats at the Roobeek. Wouter Van Massenhoven already took his second podium of the season in Arendonk.
He estimates the chances that the stylish Steve Seronval will be there again 80%. “Normally I am present again in Tongerlo. I suffered a major muscle tear in my left arm and it will take some time to recover. Strangely enough, I sustained that injury without falling.” Jonathan Banken is currently out of contention in MX2. The Yamaha rider will even join the battle at the front of the combined Inters MX2 and IntersMX1/MX3 race! However, in his home race, MX2 colleague Dieter Vromans showed that he is gradually getting back into his rhythm. After surgery on his forearms in January, the BeTeMo man started the season with minimal preparation.
The weather forecast for the coming days is promising so that riders and supporters can prepare for a great cross weekend!
Circuit address: On the corner of Bijstraat and Willaart. Please note: the circuit can only be reached via Tongerlo. First via the Langestraat to the Bosstraat and then to the Bijstraat
