Seronval shows strong at VLM in Vorselaar!
Due to the cancellations of the other federations, the VLM could once again count on a well-filled Inters series. There were more than 40 of them at the starting gate, including 'wild cards' such as Wietse 'WackoBracko' Brackman, who took advantage of the cancellation of the MCLB to sample the atmosphere in the VLM.
However, it was a glory day for another man with an MCLB background. Former MCLB pilot Steve Seronval, who competes in the VLM this year for Racing Center Deurne, won both heats in Vorselaar! In the first moto the KTM pilot took the holeshot and after that the competition did not see him again. There was a lot going on behind him. Wietse Brackman, Jonathan Banken on an MX2 machine and Kevin van Geldorp fought for the remaining podium places. A duel that was won by Jonathan Banken, Wietse Brackman and Kevin van Geldorp. The top five was completed by Wouter Van Massenhoven, who fought back from eighth place.
In the second moto we got a similar scenario for Steve Seronval. Once again he managed to lead the race from start to finish. Behind him there was again a lot of skirmishing. Dylan Verleysen, who started in second place, quickly fell back, allowing Wesley Verheyen, Kevin van Geldorp and Jens van Meer to fight for the podium places. A fight that Wesley Verheyen quickly took over. The duel for third place was ultimately won by Jens van Meer ahead of Kevin van Geldorp. Just like in the first series, fifth place went to Wouter Van Massenhoven.
