A lot of Belgians in Frankenbach, Ullrich wins!
Despite the International competition in Moerbeke, many Belgians traveled to Heilbronn-Frankenbach to compete in the ADAC Winter Cup competition. The course, which is about a 5-hour drive from Antwerp, hosted a host of ADAC top riders in preparation for their championship.
In the system that works with a 'MX2 Semi-Final' and a 'MX1 Semi-Final' and a Super Final, based on the idea of the Italian Championship or the World Championship a few years ago in the overseas competitions. This Semi-Final Round of the MX2 class was a perfect fit for Gabriel Chetnicki. The Polish KTM pilot was faster than the Swiss Robin Scheiben and Frenchman Julien Lebeau. No Belgians in the MX2 class, but there are in the MX1 class. This semi-final was dominated from lead to finish by Dennis Ullrich, the KTM Sarholz pilot was faster than the two Swiss Andy Baumgartner and Yves Furlato. Jens Getteman was the first compatriot in this heat, he finished in seventh place. The KMP Honda Belgians Jeremy Delincé and Kevin Fors finished twelfth and thirteenth respectively. Young Nolan Cordens finished twenty-nine and missed the super final.

In the super final, those present saw a duel between Dennis Ullrich and Andy Baumgartner. The latter was able to keep his opposition behind him until halfway through the match. But once Dennis Ullrich managed to get past the Swiss, the bear was loose. The lead quickly increased, resulting in an ultimately easy victory for the KTM Sarholz pilot. Andy Baumgartner finished second, ahead of the relatively unknown Hungarian Bence Szvoboda. The Belgians also did more than decently in the Superfinal. Jens Getteman finished eighth on his brand new Monster Energy Kawasaki Elf Team Pfeil seat. Jeremy Delincé, in turn, managed to fight his way from place fourteen to tenth on the narrow course. The other seeded Belgian in the super final Kevin Fors unfortunately had bad luck and was listed as 34th.
