Cyril Genot 2nd in Wintercup-Dolle
Henry Jacobi won the opening match of the German season, the Winter Cup in Dolle. Jacobi won ahead of the Belgian Cyril Genot and the Czech Jaromir Romancik.
The 20-year-old Jacobi switched from Jtech-Honda to the Bodo Schmidt-Husqvarna team this winter. His victory in Dolle was a great relief for the former youth world champion who had a disappointing 2016. Genot also got off to a strong start on Falcon Motorsport's KTM 350SX-F. With two thirds and a second place, Cyril came second overall. Nathan Rekens and Luca Nijenhuis finished 7th and 12th respectively. Dennis Wiemann had a day full of bad luck, but still finished 10th.
