Preview VLM Lommel
The heydays come in quick succession for Betemo. After the team presentation, the second VLM competition - organized by Betemo - will take place this weekend at the Heeserbergen in Lommel! At the Arendonk club they are far from perfect when it comes to organizing. Riders and fans can therefore rest easy; the cross will take place in the best possible conditions. Read: this afternoon the circuit was in perfect condition.
After the successful opening weekend in Helchteren, the strong men behind BeTeMo, Frans De Proost and Fik Hendrickx, are determined to continue in this direction. In terms of sport, it will be a very fascinating spectacle in Lommel. Despite the difficult circumstances in which he had to work in recent months, Ken De Dycker proved in Helchteren that he can still 'flame' in the sand. After his double series victory, Keeno is the absolute favorite for Lommel. Especially since the Heeserbergen is a circuit with which he is very familiar.
Cédric Grobben also showed last weekend that he is completely ready for the new season. For riders like Steve Seronval, Wesley Verheyen and Wouter Van Massenhoven (pumped up arms in Helchteren), Lommel offers a new opportunity for their first podium of the season. Contrary to certain rumors on social media, there is no confirmation about the participation of local hero Yentel Martens.
Naturally, the home drivers of BeTeMo in Lommel are also receiving extra attention. This year the club from Arendonk has 12 riders in its ranks, including no fewer than 4 Inters (Dieter Vromans, Jurgen Bijnens, Sven Breugelmans and Wouter Van Massenhoven). But all other riders also deserve your support. Everyone get there!
