No Int. MX on the Molenberg in 2017!
Today the news spread like wildfire on social media that AMC Wuustwezel is canceling their annual organization. Their motocross competition, which would have been in its 47th edition this year and was normally scheduled for April 30, could always count on a strong field of participants and a large audience in the past. From the communication message on AMC Wuustwezel's Facebook we can deduce that the club has had enough of the incompetent policy in the VMBB and BMB. Below you will find the full message.
After careful consideration and with a lot of pain in the heart, AMC Wuustwezel has decided to cancel the motocross scheduled for April 30, 2017. The ever-increasing costs to the VMBB federation, withheld information and information provided that turned out to be incorrect, the introduction of annual passes that are interesting for the pilots but not for the organizers and, above all, a late change in regulations that has affected our plans for April 30. impossible, have led to this decision.
To give the pilots the opportunity to drive on our Molenbergen circuit, AMC Wuustwezel is organizing two training weekends in 2017, the first on April 29 and 30 and the second on October 7 and 8. For 2018 we hope for a more positive attitude from the VMBB and BMB towards its organizers so that a 47th International Motorcross of the Molenbergen can still take place.
