AXO and Everts back together in the Suzuki World MXGP
AXO has signed a multi-year agreement with 10-time world champion and former AXO rider Stefan Everts and the Suzuki World MXGP team. The riders from the team Kevin Strijbos and Arminas Jasikonis will therefore be seen in the new 2017 AXO clothing line in the MXGP world championship.
Stefan Everts: “Happy to be back with AXO, it's like coming home like with Suzuki. I won my first 250 title in 1995 wearing the purple AXO kit and I will never forget that. A lot of things have changed for both of us in the meantime. My goal is to contribute to the AXO brand and help them promote their clothing in the best possible way. Plus to contribute to the development of the clothing to the highest level. We are already looking forward to an exciting racing season together.”
Valentina Zago, Managing Director of AXO: “It is a pleasure and an honor to be able to work with Stefan Everts again after we spent two seasons together in 1994 and 1995. We decided to collaborate with him and the team again because we think that his experience as a rider and as a great champion can be a motivation for his riders and for us in terms of developing and testing new products.”
