Jago Geerts nominated for Promise of the Year!
Every year, the Belgian Professional Association of Sports Journalists, 'Sportspress', organizes the sports awards such as Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year! In the secondary categories such as Promise of the Year, we see that European & Junior World Champion 125cc Jago Geerts is on the longlist this year! There the young man from Balen is accompanied by Nina Derwael, Eli Iserbyt and Lotte Kopecky. There is no doubt that this nomination should be considered an honor in itself. Winning the award seems like an impossible task with Nina Derwael, who shone at the Rio Olympic Games a few months ago. In addition, Eli Iserbyt and Lotte Kopecky are both already sticking their noses to the window in the 'Elite categories'.
We are not worried, Jago Geerts will receive plenty of awards in the future! Who dares to say that he will not be on the longlist and even honorary list of 'Sportsman of the Year' in the near future?!
