Trey Canard joins Factory KTM USA!
It had been up in the air for a while, but we had to wait until his deal with HRC Honda expired on October 1st before KTM and Trey Canard could announce it! The four-time Loretta Lynn champion will compete for the factory team from Austria in the American Supercross and Motocross championship. With this, the team immediately adds a third big name to its impressive line-up in the 450cc class. Because in addition to Ryan Dungey and Marvin Musquin, Trey Canard can already boast two professional titles in the 250cc class. In his first professional season, in 2008, he won the Supercross Lites East Coast title and added an AMA Motocross 2010 title in 250.
What we can expect in America in the coming hours and days, when we talk about Transfer News, is the official announcement that Blake Baggett will also play for KTM. He will switch from Yoshimura Suzuki to the former BTO KTM team, which will now go through life with a new name sponsor, Rocky Mountain ATV MC. In addition, the Troy Lee Design KTM team has also strengthened itself with Alex Martin. But there is also a wait for an official statement.
