Jago Geerts FIM Junior 125cc Motocross World Champion
Our compatriot Jago Geerts has become the new Junior World Champion 125 in Orlyonok, Russia. Jago Geerts already won the European 125cc title in Lommel two weeks ago and now also adds the 125 Junior World title.
The Sahkar KTM rider was our only compatriot at the start of this Junior World Championship in faraway Russia. In the first series, Geerts took second place behind the Dutchman Roan Van De Moosdijk, but in the second series Geerts took the victory ahead of the Dutchman. Because the second series was decisive, the world title went to the man from Balen. Next to our compatriot were also the Dutchman Roan Van De Moosdijk and the Czech Jakub Teresak.
