Jeremy Van Horebeek also on Yamaha in 2017
Yamaha Motor Europe NV announced this week that the contract with their current official Monster Energy Yamaha MXGP rider Jeremy Van Horebeek has been extended for one season. Our compatriot will therefore remain on the blue Yamaha in 2017. The 27-year-old Van Horebeek made his debut on the YZ2014FM in 450 and also took his first and only MXGP Grand Prix victory in the Czech Republic.
Jeremy Van Horebeek : “I also feel good in this team and in the three years I have been here I came second and fifth and now I am back in the top five in the current championship. I also feel comfortable here and on the bike and that is what really matters most to me. All this made it an easy choice for me to stay with the people I consider part of one big family. I would like to thank the entire team and also Eric De Seynes at Yamaha for the confidence they have in me. They all work very hard to keep us at the same level and I am happy that we can do that together for another year.
