Eli Tomac and Cooper Webb win National at Southwick
Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Eli Tomac was finally able to break Ken Roczen's winning streak in Southwick. On the sandy Southwick track we got the seventh round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Eli Tomac was the better of Ken Roczen in both series and thus takes six points back in the standings, but the difference still remains 47 points in favor of the RCH Suzuki rider. Third place at Southwick went to Justin Barcia (6-3) who just kept Marvin Musquin (3-7) off the podium. Christophe Pourcel finished fifth twice in the heats, which gave him sixth place in the daily rankings.

Cooper Webb was the best in the 250 Class and took his third win of the season. The Yamalube/Star Yamaha Racing rider also did a nice job in the championship standings, as second man Joey Savatgy did not get further than tenth and eleventh place in the series. This puts Webb some points ahead of the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider and has already built up a lead of 37 points. Jeremy Martin (1-4) and Austin Forkner (5-2) finished second and third on the podium. The Swiss Arnaud Tonus rode his best National of the season with a third and eighth place in the heats, which finally gave him a top six place.
